Down Home Healthcare was founded in 2017 by a nurse who had a simple but powerful vision — she wanted to see her patients receive the care they needed in the comfort of their own homes, not in a facility.
After years of watching patients struggle with the transition to institutional care, she knew there was a better way. So she built it. Down Home Healthcare started as a small, family-owned business with one guiding principle: treat every patient like family.
Today, we're still that same small, family-owned business — just with a growing team of dedicated nurses, certified home health aides, and compassionate caregivers who share that original vision. In 2020, we formalized our partnership with Ashley's Southern Hospitality, LLC, bringing an extra layer of warmth and community spirit to every home we enter.
